You play as a giant hand writing calligraphy with a surprising amount of strength. When the giant hand reaches enough power, press A to write. There are six different symbols to write (レ ("Re" Katakana), 、 (a Japanese comma), 力 (power), 己 (oneself), 寸 (sun, a Japanese kind of measurement), 心 (heart), and the characters つるニハ○○ムし (or つ3ニハ○○ムし in the Korean version) arranged to form a face). Near the end, the game goes faster and [[Calligraphy People|people]] come out dancing.

It plays the same as the 1P version, except it has a split screen display to accommodate the second player. As a consequence of this design, there is only one column of dancers per screen, and they walk over the paper.
