The stage and concert is more dressed up looking than the other one in ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]''. In ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]'', the [[Pop Singer]] wears an animal suit and her friends in animal suits who appear as backup dancers will show up in the middle and join at clapping cues. The soundtrack is extended to its full length.

The game acts like the prequel, a new tactic is introduced in practice mode, though. When all the monkeys hands raise up, and everyone shouts "Ooooooh," in the background, that signals that all of the monkeys are going to quickly clap twice right after the Pop Singer's verse. The rest of the gameplay remains the same. In Megamix, the backup dancers, [[Pop Singer's friends]], will show up to join in during the first verse, and the monkeys will hold shining sticks during clapping cues.

*Barely: The player monkey will clap/jump in time, but the other monkeys will look annoyed at him depending on if the player was late or early. A barely counts as a hit.
