The player controls a bow and arrow that is being used just outside in front of the house, always aimed at the door. Ghosts will start to peak above the wall and slowly creep towards the other wall. The player must time each arrow shot to the ghost's rhythm before they zoom to the other wall. The ghost's pace will increase and decrease during the game. Successfully shooting the ghost will result in the door opening and the ghost being thrown back into the house.

There is also a gameplay difference from the first Sneaky Spirits (in Megamix) in that the ghosts can hide behind the wall for some beats. While hiding, the music will quiet and the ghost will not make a sound.
