In the storymode of this game, the player helps a character named [[Tebiri]] back to their hometown by playing and beating each rhythm based minigame that is presented to the player. It seems old games that were taken from previous titles now have different music, rhythms and also themes. A game could possibly have more than one new theme.
In the single player Story mode of the game, the player helps a character named [[Teribi]] get back to [[The Kingdom of Heaven]] {{Nihongo 天の国|Ten no Kuni, a pun on 天国 tengoku}} by completing various rhythm games. On his way, he meets various characters, such as [[Bunbun]] and [[Puruta]], who guide him through their various lands; as well as the gatekeeper trio, [[Iemon]], [[Burukku]], and [[Redoron]].
