A Remix (リミックス?, Rimikkusu) is a special game which appears throughout the Rhythm Heaven Series.

Description

A remix appears at the end of each Stage (5 games in Rhythm Tengoku, 4 games in the rest of the series). This game combines portions of previous games into one, often with a general theme applied. In most remixes, the only games used are those in the current Stage. Remixes unlocked after the game credits, tend to include other games.

In every game, there is one remix that contains every single Rhythm Game. This is Remix 6 in Rhythm Tengoku, Remix 10 in Rhythm Heaven, Remix 10 in Rhythm Heaven Fever, and Left-Hand Remix, Right-Hand Remix and Final Remix in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. According to the Japanese descriptions of the last three, they are each known as a Medley Remix (メドレー リミックス?, Medorē Rimikkusu)[1][2].

In Rhythm Tengoku, there are 8 remixes in the game, due to the game having 40 non-remix games arranged in Stages of five. Two remixes have background vocal tracks, which are listed at the side.

In the arcade version, an Extra Stage was added with its own Remix.

In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, there are 10 remixes in the game, due to the game's towers having 40 non-remix stages arranged in Stages of four. The game has more Stages of games that are not in towers, and thus don't have remixes. None of the Remixes have numbers on them.

Three remixes have background vocal tracks, which are listed at the side. However, two of them were not given localized lyrics in the non-Japanese versions of the game, instead using a modified instrumental track Therefore, the vocal song credits don't appear in-game.
