Built to Scale is a recurring game in the Rhythm Heaven series. It features a factory full of "Widgets" that must be built. The series has lacked in explaining why they are made or what they exactly are.

Rhythm Tengoku

Polyrhythm is the 22nd level in Rhythm Tengoku . While this is not called Built to Scale, it shares a lot of similarities between the later counterparts.

Gameplay

The player must push the corresponding button to fling the rod to the next area. Failing to do so will drop the rod and explode.

Controls

Gameplay

The player shoots a rod through the center of the squares that pass by each other when the "musical scale" hits "Fa" or the 5th note. During the 3rd round, the screen becomes dark except for the middle. This forces the player to rely on audio and rhythm more.

Controls

Demo

A demo was released on the Nintendo Channel around 2008 for Rhythm Heaven. It featured Built to Scale, one of the three games playable in the demo.

Rhythm Heaven Fever

This is the 12th game in Rhythm Heaven Fever.

Gameplay

The red rod will begin to bounce on the blocks. When it reaches the red block, the player must bounce the rod by pushing the block up. The player must continue doing this for as many times it bounces to the red block. When the two widgets appear, the player must be ready for when the red block starts to back into its end. This signals that the player must spring the rod toward the two widgets that pass through to "tighten them".

Controls

  • A = Bounce Rod
  • A + B = Spring Rod
