"This one's all about hitting the beat, flipping it and then nailing the backbeat. Experience both sides of the rhythm!"

Lockstep is the 27th game in Rhythm Heaven. In this game, you must tap to keep the beat and then make transitions to the offbeats. If you get a perfect, you'll earn the song Lockstep

Gameplay

The controls of the game is only tapping. Your stepswitcher moves to show either black or white, depending on what beat you are hitting.

As you progress through the game, the screen will move out showing other stepswitchers which, zoomed out far enough, form 2 portraits of Johann Sebastian Bach on the offbeats and the regular beat. It may zoom in and out continuously to trick you so pay very close attention.

There will be a voice in the background that will tell you when to change to the offbeat and vice versa.
