Samurai Drummer

Samurai Drummer (ドラムサムライ^?, Drum Samurai) is a character and the host in Rhythm Tengoku, as well as the first character to appear in the series. He is a samurai who devotes his life to drumming. Despite his appearance, his playing is really tight and technical. In the depths of the blazing pupils, the players' sense of rhythm is determined.^[1]. He appears when the player first turns the game on, greeting them before and after the Rhythm Test. He also greets them at the beginning of the Credits. The Bandleader, Marshal, Cam and Miss Ribbon serve the same role in later games. Samurai Drummer also hosts the Drum Lessons and is playable in the Concert Hall, as part of the Drum Samurai's Band^[1].

Physical Appearances

Samurai Drummer appears to have white and blue skin. He wears a blue sleeve-less top and white pants, and what appears to be blue shoes. He wears gray headphones and carries around drum sticks.

Trivia

Samurai Drummer makes a cameo appearance in Rhythm Heaven Fever, appearing on the Extra Games icon.
Samurai Drummer also makes a cameo appearance in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. He appears as the 20th and last mascot that is unlocked through Feed Goat.
Samurai Drummer is also the first character that players see in the Rhythm Heaven series, assuming that they play the games in order.
