These frogs really tear up the stage, but what really sells it are the backup dancers! Dance away, and set that stage on fire!

The song in this game is "Young Love Rock'n'Roll", which can be played in the Café after attaining a perfect for this minigame. A sequel is unlocked later known as Frog Hop 2.

Gameplay

The player controls a backup dancer on the right of the stage. As the blue frog sings, the player must tap the screen in time to swing the frog's hips. In addition, the female frog will occasionally chant ou a move for the player to repeat:

• "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!": The player must tap three times very quickly.
• "Yahoo!" / "Come On!": The player must tap twice in a "swinging 8ths" pattern.
• "Spin it, boys!": The player must spin and pick up the beat again.

Controls

• Tap: Shake hips
• Flick: Spin

Hit or Miss

• Hit: The beat is smoothly kept.
• Barely: The frog gulps and starts to slightly sweat when partially bumping into the frog next to him. A barely counts as a hit.
• Miss: The frog bumps into the frog next to him. The other frogs give him an annoyed look.

Rating Notes

• Try Again: "Wahhh! Boo hoo!"
• OK: "We're just gettin' started!"
• Superb: "I'm your biggest fan!"

Trivia

• The lead singer is also the frog who speaks at the beginning of Rhythm Heaven and after Remix 6.
• In Japanese version, there is "Yahoo!" cue during the "Don't you know that that is just so square?", but in American and European versions, this cue is removed and replaced with standard hip shaking so anyone won't do "Yahoo!" cue at all.
