The Love Lizards (ギロちゃん?, Giro-chan), also known as the Güiro Lizards, are lizards who appear in the minigame Love Lizards in Rhythm Heaven.

Physical Appearance

The male lizard is much smaller than his female counterpart. He has spring green skin and four short legs. The most notable part of the lizard is his large, maraca-shaped tail, which has a pink and blue stripe on it. He has two large eyes and a really big smile.

The female lizard is a much larger yellow lizard. She has a significantly longer tail and spikes running up her back. She has a red and green stripe around her neck. She shares the same large eyes and big smile with her partner.

Backstory

The two lizards live in the desert. When they meet up, they use their tails to make music. The male lizard shakes his tail to make the sound of a maraca, and the female scratches her tail against her back to make rattling sounds. When the two are in perfect sync, they know they're the perfect match for each other.

Female lizards are seen performing around the desert to form a perfect and beautiful rhythmic bond with a male. The Love Lizards love to heat up their cold blood with their loud music and crazy dancing, especially around festival time.

In the Try Again epilogue, where the two lizards are out of sync, the male is seen ditching the female for a different pink one. In the Superb epilogue, the Love Lizards are seen caring for newborns.

The lizards make a cameo appearance in Munchy Monk in Rhythm Heaven Fever, where they can be sometimes seen outside the window.
