To get a medal the player must get at least a superb rank on one of the main 50 games. A silver frame will be put around the selection of the rhythm game once superbed. When you get enough medals you can unlock Subgames and Rhythm Toys. In Rhythm Heaven for the DS you can also use them to unlock Guitar lessons.
