The Penguins, also known by their stage name the Flightless Fancy, are penguins who perform in the minigame Showtime from Rhythm Tengoku. Their names are Gwen, Gonzales, and Glacier.

Physical Appearance

The first penguin, Gwen, is a short, gray penguin with a yellow beak. Gwen has pink cheeks, black eyes, and a short tail.

The second penguin, Gonzales, looks identical to Gwen beside being white instead of gray. They have the same pink cheeks, black eyes, short tail, and yellow beak.

The third and final penguin, Glacier, is much bigger than the other penguins. Glacier has bigger eyes, a bigger beak, and a black body. Their belly is yellow and they have a slightly longer tail.

Story

The game Showtime takes place at the penguin's opening night, and their tickets are completely sold out. The practice before the game is their last rehearsal before the big show. This is just about all we know about Showtime, as there's no e-mail you can get that tells more of the penguins' story.

It can be implied that Gonzales is the fan favorite, as whenever Gonzales grabs the ball, the audience applauds immensely.

Purpose

The penguins help the player learn about swing beats, especially Gonzales, and tests their patience.

Gwen waits for three beats before grabbing the ball.

Glacier waits for five beats before grabbing the ball.

Gonzales waits for three beats before grabbing the ball, although Gonzales has a very swingy rhythm.
