Write Japanese with the brush. (You only have to do the fun parts.) |
Template:Minigame infoboxPower Calligraphy (りずむお習字 Rhythm Penmanship) is the 21st unlockable game in Rhythm Tengoku. It's also an Extra Game unlocked in Rhythm Heaven Fever.
Gameplay
A giant hand, that you play as, is going to write calligraphy -- with an unnecessary-yet-necessary amount of strength. When the giant hand reaches enough power, press A to write (with power). There are six different symbols to write besides the face. Near the end, the game goes faster and people come out dancing.
Controls
- A = Write (with power)
Hit or Miss
- Hit: The symbol is successfully written
- Barely: If early, the line turns out squiggled. If late, a messy spot of ink is made. (Barely counts as a miss.)
- Miss: If missed completely no marks are made, letting out a sigh.
Appearances
- Power Calligraphy
- Remix 4

Rhythm Heaven Fever
Have you ever tried writing Japanese calligraphy? It requires grace, finesse, and a surprising amount of upper-body strength. |
Template:Minigame infobox Power Calligraphy (りずむお習字 rizumu oshuju "rhythm penmanship") is remade in Rhythm Heaven Fever as an Extra Game. This can be unlocked for 41 medals. (Remember, medals are earned when getting a superb. You can't get medals for Night Walk or Extra Games.)
Gameplay
The graphics of the game are now updated to be in the same style as Rhythm Heaven Fever's artwork, the text is changed in the mini-game description and practice and the rating screens too. The controls and hits and misses are the same as before.
Controls
- A = Write (with power)

- Hit: The symbol is written successfully.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix

Trivia
- The person drawing the symbols may very well be The Wandering Samurai, as they share the same sound effects.
- If you miss the last one, it automatically drops the chance of getting a superb.
- The symbols written are actual Japanese symbols except the face, which is made of symbols, such as its nose.
- The symbolsare: 力(power) 寸(sun, a Japanese kind of measurement.) 心 (heart) 己 (oneself) レ (re Katakana) and a comma
- This is one of a few games to have different rating screens of both versions.
- In the Korean version, the title screen is different along with the rating screens and the last symbol drawn at the end.
