The rabbit (ウサギ?, Usagi) is the playable character in Bunny Hop, where he jumps on sea animals such as turtles and whales in order to get to the moon. Like the Space-Rabbits, he is based on the Moon rabbit in East Asian folklore.
Story
The rabbit lives on the moon, and is the best jumper there. While everyone on the moon was watching the Moonpics (ムーンピック?, Mūnpikku) held every four years, the rabbit jumped so high that he escaped the moon's gravity and landed on Earth. He began jumping on sea animals to find a way back to the moon[1].

- The Character Album on Rhythm Tengoku's website refers to the rabbit as female[1]. The description for Bunny Hop in Rhythm Heaven Megamix meanwhile refers to it as male[2].
