Hanabi (花火?, Fireworks) is the 4th Rhythm Game of Stage 5 (28th overall) in Rhythm Tengoku.
Gameplay
Against the night sky above a city, fireworks shoot up, and the player needs to press Ⓐ at the right time to detonate them. During Practice, each type of firework is given verbal cues, with 「ハイ!」 (Hai!) being the button press.
First is "Futsū no Hanabi" (「ふつう の ハナビ」?, "Normal Firework"), whose rhythm is 1, 2, 3, Hai! (いち に さん ハイ!?).
Next is "Kiai no hanabi" (「きあい の ハナビ」?, "Spirit Firework"), with the faster rhythm of Nuei! Hai! (ぬえい! ハイ!?).
Finally, there is the "Shime no Taiko Bonbā" (「シメ の タイコボンバー」?, "Hawfinch Taiko Bomber"), follow the rhythm of Tamaya~ Hai! (たまや〜 ハイ!?).
During the real game, only the "Neui!" and "Tamaya~" cues are heard, as the player is expected to have memorized the timing.
Controls
- Ⓐ: Detonate
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!?: The firework is successfully detonated.
- Early!/Late!?: The firework is detonated off sync, making a very unimpressive explosion, with a "doink" sound.
- Miss...?: The firework disappears. The crowd is dissapointed.

Trivia
- The microgames Boom Box from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and Big Bang from WarioWare: Touched! share a similar concept and gameplay.
- While most other Rhythm Games have at least one character associated with them on the Character Album on Rhythm Tengoku's website, this one notably does not. The identity of the character in the epilogue (implied to be the person setting off the fireworks) is therefore unknown.
