Rhythm Heaven Megamix

Template:Game-Nav Template:Game-Nav Template:Minigame infobox Cosmic Dance (コスモダンス^?, Cosmo Dance) is the 33rd rhythm game in Rhythm Tengoku and the 86th game in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, being the sequel to Space Dance. In this game, the player controls a Cosmo Dancer led by the Cosmic Girl.

The gameplay is the same as its prequel. The main difference is actually just a difference in characters and setting. The beat is also a swing beat.

Controls

Button Mode

• A: Punch
• Right: Pose
• Down: Squat

Simple Tap Mode

• Tap: Appropriate action

Timing Notes

• Hit: You follow with the rest of the dancers in synchronization.
• Barely: You follow with the rest of the characters, but you will be out of sync and hear a ticking noise. The Cosmic Girl has an annoyed look. A barely counts as a miss.
• Miss: The other dancers collide with you as they make their move while you do not. The Cosmic Girl has an embarrassed look.

Template:Game-Nav Template:Minigame infobox Cosmic Dance also appears in the 2P mode of Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade) where it is referred to as Cosmo Dance 2P (コスモダンス 2P^?, Cosmo Dance 2P). It plays the same as the 1P version, except the first player controls the second dancer, and the second player controls the fourth dancer. Oddly, P1 cannot hit the third dancer in line.

Trivia

• When posing in Rhythm Tengoku, Cosmic Girl's socks goes from knee-high to low-cut socks. This was fixed in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
• When squatting in Rhythm Tengoku, Cosmic Girl still faces the front. In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, she faces to the left.
• The pause in the middle of the game has a random duration in Rhythm Tengoku; however, it's constant in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. This is due to how the music in each version is stored.
• There is an unused disassembled sprite of Cosmic Girl in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. Unlike the arranged one in-game, she has a plumper face & a different hat.
  • Said hat was recycled for the Rhythm Item.
