Quicknibble (Gulper in European version) is a fish that appears in the game Catch of the Day in Rhythm Heaven Fever.

Physical Appearances

Quicknibbles are small, orange fish. They have white lips and red cheeks. They have fins on the top and bottom of their bodies and small tails.

Story

Angling Profiles, obtained after getting a perfect on Catch of the Day, is written by Ann Glerr. In it, she talks about the best methods of catching fish. In the Quicknibble's description, she says it's an adorable little orange fish that has no sense of self-preservation. She says that they're small fries that like to taste your bait twice before biting it. At that point, she describes, you can just yank it out of the water.

The Quicknibble has a cameo appearance in Love Rap in a fish tank and appears attached to a string in Kitties!.

Purpose

Naturally, appearing in a fishing game, the Quicknibble tests the player's patience. The fish will make two sounds to the rhythm, and the player must press A on the third. In Kittes! they serve the same purpose. They force the player to wait until just the right moment to press A.
