The Slot Monster is tall and yellow with darker yellow stripes and a circle attached to the end. It has pink cheeks, a long neck, two horns, monkey-like ears, and a smile. Its three eyes can display various different images, which act as the slot machine. The images cycle through cake, mushrooms, hats, [[Note]], bows, rings, the [[Barista]], keys, flowers and drinks in that order. The background features a stack of coins, which goes up with each successful match, and down if the images differ. | |||
The Slot Monster has three differently colored buttons: a green one (on the left), a purple one (center), and a red one (on the right). After pulling the lever, the monster's eyes move like slots, and the buttons flash in one of five rhythms. If the player taps the buttons when they flash (on the beat), the image match, a jingle plays and the stack of coins in the background grows (up to a certain point). If the images don't match, the player loses some of the coins instead. | |||
