The gameplay is almost entirely identical to the original, aside from the visuals and [[The☆Bon Odori (song)|new arrangement of the song]]. The [[Bon Dance Musume]] wear funky kimonos and [[Yagura-chan]] is now wearing a pink dress and blue heart-like hairpins. Some parts of the song swap the Dons and Pans, and other parts complicate them even more.
