This game is really easy. Your goal is to help a little bunny reach to the moon by jumping on sea animals. Pressing A button will make it jump from sea animal to sea animal, like turtles and whales. Each sea animal has its own timing: when you hop on a small whale, you will fly and rest for two beats, jumping on a whale's tale counts 4 beats, and the big whale counts 8 beats. There is a whale at the end who will help you get to the moon.

In this game, the player is a Rabbit on a tough mission: to jump all the way to the moon by jumping on sea animals. Each animal has different timing: turtles and upright whales are jumped on each beat, small whales rest for a two-count, Mr. Whale's tail rests for a four-count, and the big whale tail rests for an eight-count. There is also a whale at the end who helps the bunny reach the moon.

*This is one of the few games that doesn't feature a practice in the series.
*This is one of the few games that doesn't feature a Practice in the series.
**However, it did get a tutorial in the arcade version, and a practice in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
**However, it did get a How to Play demonstration in the arcade version, and a Practice in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
*The image of the rabbit on the moon upon completion of the game is a reference to the Moon Rabbit, also known as the Jade Rabbit, an old Chinese myth which says that the dark patches on the moon's surface looks like a rabbit creating the elixir of life for the mortals on Earth. The difference between the myth and the rabbit in Rhythm Heaven is that instead of creating elixir, the rabbit seems to be making something (likely Mochi) with a mortar and pestle.
*The image of the rabbit on the moon upon completion of the game is a reference to the moon rabbit, a Japanese myth which says that the dark patches on the moon's surface are a rabbit pounding dough to make mochi for the mortals on Earth.
*The music was recycled as Mike's Theme in "WarioWare Touched!", made by the same developers (Mike's scenario coincidentally also features bunnies from outer space.)
*This game's music bears a striking resemblance to Mike's Theme from WarioWare: Touched!.
*Rat Race, Quiz Show, Big Rock Finish, Fan Club 2 and this game are the only games to receive remixed music in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
*In Rhythm Tengoku, the large whales that launches the player up for an eight-count are darker than the otherwise identical ones that are hopped across on the beat. In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, they are the same color.
