There are two characters in this minigame. The player controls the yellow one on the right side of the screen. There are three main cues to press the A button. Pressing the A button makes the yellow one go "Unh!" (The three cues are the {{Nihongo|'''ですか？'''|Desu ka?|Isn't it?}} as "Un!" once, {{Nihongo|'''かもネ'''|Ka mo NE|could be}} as twice and {{Nihongo|'''サイコー！'''|Saikō!|The BEST!}} as "Un!" twice again but faster).

==Timing Notes==

*Hit: The yellow rapper will say "Un!" perfectly while creating a big cloud of smoke.

*Barely: The yellow rapper will just say "Un!" if he goes too early or too late when the red rapper finishes rapping. '''A barely counts as a miss.'''

*Miss: The yellow rapper does not do anything after the red one finishes rapping. He will be upset and turn blue if you miss the cue.

*In ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]'', passing [[Remix 10 (DS)|Remix 10]] unlocks the "[[Battle of the Bands]]". On the flier, the RAPMEN can be seen. Also on the flier, you can find the phone number: 555-ROCK-OUT. If you call this number on the Rhythm Toy "[[Phone]]", you can hear the music this minigame. You can also hear the red guy saying "Yo" and "Havin' fun". And you can hear the yellow one say "Un!" repeatedly.

*The RAPMEN make another cameo at the end of [[Love Rap]] and [[Love Rap 2]], appearing as two framed pictures on the wall.
