Unknown (Ao-kun)
Unknown (Kii-yan)
The Toss Boys (トスボーイズ?, Tosu Bōizu) are a trio made up of two boys, Ao-kun and Kii-yan, and one girl, Aka-chan. In the Rhythm Game Toss Boys from Rhythm Tengoku, they toss a ball back and forth while calling each other's names.
Each of their names reflects the color of their hair and clothing, with 赤 (aka?) meaning red, 青 (ao?) meaning blue and 黄 (ki?) meaning yellow. The symbols on their clothing represent the buttons that control them: Ao-kun, Kii-yan, and Aka-chan are controlled with Ⓑ, ✚, and Ⓐ, respectively.
Story
The Toss Boys are practicing for the Toss World Championship. They are specifically practicing their special moves, and are nervous when their name is called when it's time to do them, though their expressions don't change[1]. The Toss Boys also have fun changing their hairstyles and trying out new fashion in Toss Boys 2, and becoming delinquents in Remix 5[2]. Their performance is rated by their Kantoku (カントク?, Director).
Ao-kun and Kii-yan have at least once participated in a manzai routine, with Ao-kun playing the tsukkomi (straight man) to Kii-yan's boke (funny man).
