*There is a Tengu mask in the files for Remix 4 that goes unused. The mask could have been used to reference the first Samurai Slice game, [[Iai Giri]],since the mask is similar to the in-game enemies.
*The text displayed at the beginning either reads "There are mountains that a samurai must climb." or "There are roads that a samurai must travel." Interestingly, the three parts of the text are timed to the music. A fourth part is also intended to be displayed, however no such part is shown in most versions. In the Japanese, French and Korean versions however, there is one; it is simply [[The Wandering Samurai]] signing his name, while the text itself is written from his perspective.
