Stepswitchers (ウラオモテ人?, Uraomote Hito) are characters who march in unison in Lockstep in Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Story
These beings are obsessed with seeing both sides of every debate and hearing every side of of every beat. They are amazing at keeping the tempo because of that.
When the screen zooms out completely, the Stepswitchers form the image of what appears to be Johann Sebastian Bach, a famous German composer of the 1700's. He had a very distinct hairstyle, although he lacks the curly mustache seen in the game.
In Remix 10, an alien shaped like a Stepswitcher head appears in Shoot-'Em-Up as a warning that Lockstep is coming right after. A trio of Stepswitchers can be seen in the audience in Battle of the Bands. An image of them can also be seen in the books in Cheer Readers.
