Tangotronic[1] is a robot with a woman as his dance parter in the Rhythm Game Tangotronic 3000 in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

Story

The lady participated in a tango contest in 2001, appearing like a comet, where she won third place. This was considered the Miracle Year for the dance group[2]. She wanted to ace another tango competition some years later, and decided to have Tangotronic as her dance partner. During Practice before the competition, she programmed him with some new steps which they would use[3]. During the robo-recital, they won second place, and received a trophy. Due to this, the lady considers him to be second place in her heart[4]. She expects to perform better next time[5]. The two appear again in Songbird Remix, where Tangotronic's head has a rounded top, and he wears a beak. Meanwhile, the lady wears a purple dress, with feathers on her arms, and a bird mask. The dance hall is decorated like a bird's nest.

Tangotronic is referenced in Rhythm Tengoku The Best Plus Comic 28テビリとオモナガ (Tibby and Philip), where Philip has started learning ballroom dancing. He tells Tibby that the classroom is on the fourth floor of the Songbird Tower, how the teacher's neck twists around when things go well, and how his arms start stretching.
