Policies and guidelines have been developed on Rhythm Heaven Wiki to further our goal of creating a freely editable Rhythm Tengoku, Rhythm Heaven, and Rhythm Heaven Fever database.

Policies have community consensus and apply to all editors. Rhythm Heaven Wiki strives to create a welcoming and fun environment for those who are civil to and assume good faith in others, seek consensus in discussions, and work toward the goal of creating an increasingly comprehensive database about everything in the Rhythm Heaven universe.

Policies need to be approached with common sense; adhere to the spirit rather than the letter of the rules, and be prepared to ignore the rules on the rare occasions when they conflict with the goal of improving the wiki.

What Rhythm Heaven Wiki is About and What We Expect

Rhythm Heaven Wiki is a place where those who are fans of Rhythm Heaven can gather and share their knowledge of the series. We have two goals: The first being the best site to get accurate information on everything and anything to know about the official Rhythm Heaven series, and the second to form a friendly community where fans can gather and discuss with one another, about the series or not.

What We Expect:

Like the very first Wiki that has originated, we would like to keep the tone in the articles more on the formal side. This will help keep our pages more accurate and less biased, and its just overall easier to read and understand. We want a nice community who is willing to help each other out and edit regularly (Obviously not required but definitely encouraged).

What We DO NOT Expect:

  • As a wiki dedicated to the original series, we do not accept fan art on any articles or main pages. Please try to find the official artwork for adding photos to pages.
  • Any biased or influential comments in any way that express your opinion on something. Again, we are only looking for true, raw information on the games.
    • Example: "Chorus Kids is a funny game."
    • Exceptions: If the opinionated comment or rating is quoted by a popular game review site such as IGN or something said by a game developer. These are okay because they are not comments influenced by the editor of the articles.
  • Any information regarding tips, strategies, or cheats. Rhythm Heaven Wiki is not a strategy guide nor a walkthrough. It is an informational site for knowledge on the actual series.
  • Anything unrelated to the series.

Essential Tools

Here are some resources to get you started:

Wiki Etiquette

Who wants to go to a place where the community is a bunch of snobs? We want to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome to edit here (Unless they're a vandalizing troll, in that case block away). So, we ask a few things from our fellow editors to be cautious of:

  • If someone does something completely wrong, don't yell at them or tell them off. Just edit back to the way it should be and then nuzzle them toward the right direction and how they can improve on later edits.

Where do our policies come from?

Generally, Rhythm Heaven Wiki policies come from multiple sources:

  1. From a standard or good practice that has been followed subconsciously for some time because it is common sense and has become an established precedent.
  2. From a deliberate proposal by a user or a group of users, usually from a forum discussion. Such proposals must achieve full community consensus before being formalized as a policy.
  3. Very similar wording from Avatar Wiki

Most of the policies that fall under the first category are derived from similar practices on other wikis.
