Samurai Drummer (ドラムサムライ?, Doramu Samurai) is a character and the host in Rhythm Tengoku, as well as the first character to appear in the series. He appears when the player first turns the game on, greeting them before and after the Rhythm Test. He also greets them at the beginning of the Credits. The Bandleader, Marshal, Cam and Miss Ribbon serve the same role in later games. Drum Samurai also hosts the Drum Lessons and is playable in the Concert Hall, in the Samurai Drummer's Band.
