The gameplay is the same as before, with purple onions, green turnips and gray potatoes added to the mix. The rhythms here are challenging, and at the end, there is a very fast clump of three hairs that is very difficult to do with just the A button.

Each vegetable is done in turns, first by P1 and then by P2. As a result, the game is twice as long as the 1P version.
