Packing Pests is the 2nd Rhythm Game of Stage 4 (17th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Fever and the 1st of Shop No. 6 (106th overall), costing 8 Flow Balls, in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

Packing Pests is the 17th minigame in Rhythm Heaven Fever and the 106th minigame in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. This game is about an employee who works at a candy sorting company. There, he must slap away Treat Spiders before they get into a cardboard box. A sequel is unlocked later on called Packing Pests 2.

The arrange version, Packing Pests 2, appears in Stage 10 in Rhythm Heaven Fever.

The player must control a worker in a candy factory by sorting out the products. The player must catch candy and then drop them into a cardboard box below when they're thrown to him. There are also Treat Spiders that want to jump into the cardboard box. Press the A button to smack them before they get to you. Also, when the cue "Double up!" (Japanese: いくぜ!!! Ikuze!) is heard, the player must smack two treat spiders at the same time after catching a piece of candy.

The player takes control of Employee #333-4-591032 who works in a candy factory. Beneath the player is a cardboard box. Using both hands, they must catch candy to drop them into the box and swat away the Treat Spiders thrown at them. When the cue "Double up!" (간다!!!, Ganda!) is heard, the player must catch one piece of candy and smack two Treat Spiders in a row.

*Perfect!/Ace!: The candy will be grabbed and dropped in a box. Spiders are slapped forward to the ground, and walk back offscreen.

Trivia
*The employee played in this rhythm game bears a striking resemblance to Munchy Monk. He also slaps the spiders in a very similar manner as to when the Munchy Monk slaps his arm, and the aside glance he gives when his face is shown, is almost identical to the one at the end of Munchy Monk 2.
*Employee #333-4-591032 bears a striking resemblance to the Munchy Monk. He slaps the spiders in a similar manner to when the monk slaps his arm, and the aside glance he gives when his face is shown is almost identical to the one at the end of Munchy Monk 2.
*The word "Double up!" was localized in the other European languages, despite the lack of a dedicated dub.
Development History
*The employee is only given an ID number exclusive to the North American release.
Packing Pests/Development
**The employee' ID number, #333-4-591032, is a symbolic code for "EEE, a spider!"
*In Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise, the sign says "Quality Control" instead of "Spider-Free Candy". This was reverted back in Rhythm Paradise Megamix.
*According to debug notes found in the files of Rhythm Heaven Megamix this game, Fork Lifter, Cheer Readers, Flock Step, Double Date and Board Meeting would have its short mode variant added in that game but got cut for unknown reasons.
*This game has a similar rhythm to Monkey Watch.
*In the American and European release, the paycheck has a dollar symbol on it. This change is reflected on the rhythm item.
