Remix 6 is the sixth remix in Rhythm Heaven Fever. It contains one game that is not in Rhythm Heaven Megamix that was recreated solely for this remix: Donk-Donk.

List of Games

Donk-Donk

Overview

Donk-Donk was recreated using Lockstep's engine, using the practice zoom where there's only three Stepswitchers onscreen.

Limitations

  • You can never leave the practice room.
  • Some sound effects (like the hitting SFX) are not as clear as they should be due to lack of extensive knowledge in .bcseq editing.

Notes

  • You are given a choice between old sound effects and custom sound effects for the Donk-Donk sections.
  • Launch Party's new note sequences had to be recreated manually. The sequences for this remix, Remix 8 (Wii), and Remix 10 (Wii) still exist in the Launch Party's .bcgrp files, but cannot be accessed at the moment.
  • The Skill Star appears at the very last Launch Party rocket.
  • Love Rap's half-speed cue subs are somewhat bugged, so the tempo file had to be slowed down to half tempo for each individual Love Rap section.

Known Issues

Almost all of the known issues are SFX related.

  • Quitting or completing the remix using the custom Donk-Donk sound effects will unload the Common SFX group file, resulting in missing sounds such as menu noises. The game must be restarted to fix this.
  • The remix was made with the English version in mind. Switching to Japanese will cause a bunch of SFX issues.
  • Because Launch Party's note sequences were manually recreated, they may sound a bit "damper" than how they did in Rhythm Heaven Fever. The last note of each sequence (the note that plays when the player inputs) will always play regardless of input.
  • Love Rap's speech bubble does not move with the car. This is not fixable.
